First version of the of the Electronic Access Control System for Wroclaw's University of Technology dormitories was developed in 2000. The purpose of the system was to increase the safety of the dormitories. The system offers user friendly interface together with a high level of reliability in harsh environment (students). In 2009 the system was upgraded and was able to support the students' electronic ID which increased the comfort and convenience of the system. By that time the Electronic Access Control System had a few minor upgrades and works unfailingly.
